Registration Opens: Sunday, October 20th @9am EST

To register for the retreat, be prepared with:​

  • The names of all retreat participants sharing your room

  • The room type you would like, and a possible backup plan if it becomes unavailable.

  • Any accessibility accommodations or dietary restrictions about your friends/family that we may need to be aware of.

Location 
The retreat is being held in Paris, ON, about 1.5 hours west of Toronto.  The Arlington Hotel has reserved all 23 unique rooms at their boutique hotel for our group in the hopes of a full hotel takeover for our Puzzle Retreat weekend.  The Friday night social location is TBD and all other activities will take place at the River's Edge Arlington which is right across the road from the hotel on the Grand River.  All spaces are wheelchair accessible.  Parking is available and limited at the hotel, but there are free 24 hour parking locations in close proximity.

What's Included:
The retreat and accommodation package includes:

  • Two night stay at the Arlington Hotel, Paris ON

  • Continental breakfast Saturday and Sunday at the hotel.

  • Retreat participants will have the following meals included: Saturday lunch, afternoon snack and dinner, and Sunday lunch.  This will include non-alcoholic beverages at the event venue. More details are in the retreat schedule below.

  • Friday Night: informal and casual meet & greet with fellow puzzlers

  • All scheduled retreats on Saturday and Sunday as per the retreat schedule.

The retreat only:

After the retreat and accommodation packages sell out, we will close registration to review how many retreat participants we have in total.  Once we have finalized those numbers, we will re-open registration for those wishing to purchase the retreat only package.
 

The retreat only package includes everything except for the hotel stay, the hotel tour on Friday night, and the continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.

Cost and Payment

After registration, guests must submit payment via e-transfer to canadianjpa@gmail.com to secure their reservation.  Any outstanding payments will receive one courtesy email reminder with a 24 hour limit to secure payment, after which we will remove the registration and re-open the room.

*The purpose of an e-transfer is to keep the cost lower by reducing payment processing fees.

Prices on this chart are the total accommodation cost for Friday and Saturday nights for up to the maximum occupancy listed and include continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings for all people sharing the room.

Rooms with max occupancy of 4 must have at least 2 registered participants.
Rooms with a max occupancy of 6 must have at least 3 registered participants.

Refund Policy

The accommodation cost is fully refundable if we receive a notice to cancel your hotel stay in writing by Tuesday, January 7th.  Please email us at canadianjpa@gmail.com.

 

The retreat cost is non-refundable.   Event tickets are transferrable.  To transfer a ticket, please email us the name and copy the new ticket holder on the email.

If you are unable to attend the retreat and have been unsuccessful at transferring your ticket, please reach out to us and let us know.  If we are able to process a partial refund, which is at the CJPA's discretion and based on event sales and event costs, we will make our best effort to do so.
