Intro to Speed Puzzling
Have you wanted to try a speed puzzling competition but don’t know what it is all about?
Interested in learning how to take your casual puzzling to the next level?
Want to try a low-stakes competition but there is nothing available locally?
Join us for a hands-on, two-part virtual workshop to explore the sport of speed puzzling.
This workshop is geared towards new and beginner speed puzzlers. No experience required.
Three practice puzzles & a competition puzzle included.
Dates & Time:
Part 1: Saturday, November 21st @ 4:30pm - 6:00pm EST
Part 2: Saturday, November 28th @ 4:30pm - 6:00pm EST
Both sessions are held over Zoom.
Cost: $65 + tax per person, includes both sessions and four puzzles.
Registration opens on October 4th @ 1pm EST.
Parcels will ship October 17-19.
Part 1: Develop your Skills

Work together with us through speed puzzling drills to improve your speed.

Try different strategies to find what works for you.

Learn various strategies for approaching a variety of puzzles.

Become familiar with commonly used puzzle terms.

Participants will receive 3 small piece count puzzles for practice.
Part 2: Novice Competition

Experience what a competition is like in a low-stakes environment.

Apply the skills you have learned and practiced in this casually timed event.

Participants will receive one 300 piece puzzle for the competition.

Prizes: Free Entry to CJPA virtual competition for:

first place finisher, and

random draws: one for every ten registered participants.

Can I open my parcel when I receive it?
When you receive you puzzles, do not open the package. At the start of Part 1, everyone will open the outer package together to reveal the practice puzzles. The competition puzzle will remain concealed until Part 2, Competition Day.
