How It Works
1. When registration for an upcoming event opens, click the registration button to register for the event and pay the event fee. Payment is accepted by credit card or Apple/Google Pay. The date for registration is posted with the event listings once we know the dates.
2. You should receive a confirmation email of your registration. Please review this to check that an accurate shipping address and email address was provided. If there are any changes that need to be made, please contact us ASAP at canadianjpa.virtual@gmail.com.
3. Depending on registration numbers and if the competition puzzles have arrived, shipping should commence within one month of the registration date. You should receive a shipping email with tracking number from Puzzles Canada. Please track the package to ensure safe delivery. If there are any issues, please contact us at canadianjpa.virtual@gmail.com. We can follow up and resolve issues quickly if we are notified promptly of any delivery issues.
Once the competition puzzle has shipped, the registrant is responsible for following the tracking of their package.
Any costs associated with a package being returned due to a failure to pickup at an access point or an error in the shipping address including the absence of a unit number will be billed to the registrant. If a tracking number has indicated a parcel has been delivered but it has not been received by the registrant, the registrant must notify the CJPA in writing at canadianjpa.virtual@gmail.com within 24 hours, otherwise we may not be able to offer a remedy or a refund of the competition puzzle.
4. When you receive your shipment, if it is for one competition, do not open the parcel. If you have ordered multiple competitions, all the puzzles will be individually wrapped inside a larger box. In this case you may open the box.

Each individually wrapped puzzle will include a label with:

the competition date and time

The Meeting ID

and a Passcode to enter the Zoom call

5. The day of the competition, join the Zoom call and we will review the event guidelines with everyone. Final results will be posted to our results page.
6. Should you be unable to participate the day of the event you may:

find a substitute whom you can get the competition puzzle to and email us at canadianjpa.virtual@gmail.com so we can update our results spreadsheet

complete your puzzle after the competition time and submit an email with your finishing time to canadianjpa.virtual@gmail.com. We will add your results to the competition times as an unofficial time.
