If you have any issues with receiving your shipment as indicated on your tracking email, please email us as soon as possible so we can look into and resolve the issue. canadianjpa.virtual@gmail.com
(mailto:canadianjpa.virtual@gmail.com)
Please note:
Once the competition puzzle has shipped, the registrant is responsible for following the tracking of their package. Any costs associated with a package being returned due to a failure to pickup at an access point or an error in the shipping address including the absence of a unit number will be billed to the registrant. If a tracking number has indicated a parcel has been delivered but it has not been received by the registrant, the registrant must notify the CJPA in writing at canadianjpa.virtual@gmail.com (mailto:canadianjpa.virtual@gmail.com)within 24 hours, otherwise we may not be able to offer a remedy or a refund of the competition puzzle.
When you receive your package:
• If you ordered one competition, you should not open the package
• If you ordered multiple competitions, you can open the box. Each puzzle will be wrapped inside.
Each puzzle will have a label on the front including the following information:
• Competition Date and Time
• Meeting ID & Passcode to enter the Zoom call
Verify your parcel:
• Please verify that your parcel includes the correct puzzles from your order. While we work hard to complete all orders accurately, we are human and errors may happen.
• If there are any issues, please contact us ASAP so that we can make every effort to correct the error quickly.
• Participants must be able to join the virtual competition via Zoom on a personal device.
• You will need to set up your computer or phone so that we are able to view you and your puzzling space.
• You will need a timer.
• Participants may use sorting trays and/or box top holders.
• You can not use any electronic device to aid you in completing the puzzle.
• When you join the zoom call, double check that your mic is muted.
• Please check that your name on the Zoom screen matches the name that you registered with for the competition.
• Before beginning, everyone will need to show their unopened package. An open package will result in disqualification from officially participating.
• We will open the package together, including the cellophane or removing stickers but not the puzzle box.
• The hosts will review a brief set of rules. Once the rules have been reviewed, you may want to reduce the volume on your device as when puzzlers begin to finish, a high volume may startle you.
• When we say go, you will start your timer and begin to puzzle.
• When you have completed your puzzle:
• pause your timer,
• unmute your mic,
• announce you are done, your name and your finishing time
• hold your timer up to your screen.
• Then, in the chat, type your name (if not correct in your Zoom profile) and your finishing time.
• You may then turn off your camera and either stay in the Zoom call or leave.
If you did not complete the puzzle in the allocated time, continue puzzling once the Zoom call is closed. Stop your timer when you are done. Email: canadianjpa.virtual@gmail.com (mailto:canadianjpa.virtual@gmail.com)within 24 hours with your finishing time for us to record your result.
